Brittney | Dallas Bridal

I LOVE bridal sessions!!  They are quickly becoming one of my favorite things to photograph.  If you aren’t familiar with bridal sessions it’s a chance for a bride to wear her dress prior to the wedding and have some time to focus on just her in her gown.  It is also a great time for a “test run.”  It’s a time to make sure your hair and makeup is exactly how you want it for the wedding day, and a time to make sure your dress fits perfectly.  Brittney is a natural in front of the camera and the camera LOVES her.  Isn’t she gorgeous?  What I LOVE most about Brittney is that she’s such a beautiful person inside as well.  Brittney is in love with all things fashion so she decided to incorporate a few pieces into her shoot and we made it a semi styled shoot.  She also hand made a gorgeous head piece for some more vintage shots.  We had a chance to shoot at a beautiful private residence in Dallas and I was in love with the area out in the back.

Mike & Vanessa The W Hotel | Dallas Wedding Photographer

Mike & Vanessa were married at the beautiful W Hotel here in Dallas.  I loved everything about this wedding!  Mike & Vanessa put aside all the “traditions” and made this day completely about them and their union together.  I was so honored that they chose me to document this day.

When Vanessa and I first met we completely hit it off.  Vanessa has this wonderful energy and you can’t help but smile around her.  She spoke about Mike during our meeting and you could see how much she loved him.  She described their relationship as fun, silly, but also said they had a deep admiration and respect for each other.  During our engagement session I saw first hand how fun these two had together.  Mike looked at Vanessa like she was the only woman in the world AND made her laugh like a school girl.  Vanessa was beaming the whole time.

The wedding day was no different. Vanessa and Mike had a beautiful intimate wedding.  Happiness literally filled the room.  They were surrounded by all the people they loved and it was a beautiful thing to witness.

Also a BIG thank you to my second shooter Melinda Leal for always getting some amazing details and a shout out to Valerie Valdez with Perez Photography for helping out as well.  Thank you to ALL the Dallas Wedding vendors who made this day so beautiful…

Cassie & Cory | Dallas Engagement

Cassie & Cory were an absolute BLAST to work with and they were complete naturals in front of the camera.  Cassie and Cory are extremely laid back and fun people.  The sweet and playful way they interacted with each other was the best part of the session.  I love it when couples can let me in and just be themselves in front of the camera.   We walked around Dallas getting to know each other, having some fun, and getting some beautiful photographs in the process.

I am SUPER  excited about their  upcoming Dallas wedding at the The Ritz Carlton .  Cassie has some amazing things she’s incorporating into her wedding and I am THRILLED they choose me to be their photographer.

Abi Bridal Aloft Hotel | Dallas Wedding Photographer

I am excited to FINALLY share these bridals with you.  Abi was married last year in March and since I’m SOOO behind on blogging I haven’t been able to post these.

It was my first time shooting at the Aloft Hotel in Dallas and it was SUPER fun!  If you’re looking for a colorful urban venue it’s the perfect spot.  Abi is the sweetest person ever.  She’s soft spoken, elegant, kind, and absolutely stunning!

I have recently started photographing more and more bridal sessions and I’m loving it!  It’s a great time to have a session that is all about you and enjoy wearing that beautiful dress more than just once.  :-)

Charity & Carlos Wedding | Tulum, Mexico

I’m so excited to share this destination wedding!   I’ve known Charity for years and when she moved away from Dallas to New York we were able to kept in touch via Facebook.  Last year I was so excited to hear that she was engaged and I was even more excited when she asked me to be her photographer.  The wedding was held at the beautiful Dreams Resort in Tulum, Mexico.

Charity has a smile that literally lights up a room.  She has a presence about her that makes you want to be friends with her.  She’s beautiful, smart, giving, trustworthy, driven, funny, and always looks on the bright side.  Her positive bubbly personality is magnetic and I wasn’t surprised that Carlos fell in love with her.  It’s a no brainer, she’s a keeper;-) When she told me all about Carlos I could hear the excitement in her voice.  I could tell my friend was happy and that made me happy.

I didn’t get a chance to meet Carlos until I flew into Mexico for their wedding.  When I first introduced myself to Carlos he immediately greeted me with a hug and a huge smile.  His warm and inviting personality made me feel like I was family and I immediately loved him.  Carlos and Charity go together like peanut butter and jelly.  They just fit.  Perfectly.   I am so happy for the both of them but I’m very happy that my friend has found such happiness.  Congrats Charity and Carlos!  I wish you two nothing but the best.

We were fighting off the rain the day of the wedding but the skies LITERALLY opened up at the last moment for JUST enough time for the beach ceremony.  Here are a few of my favorites…
