I absolutely adore small intimate weddings and this wedding was no different. When I met with Anne just a few short weeks ago she lit up when she told me about Darrell and how their story began. She smiled ear to ear when she talked about the close relationship that had formed with her daughter and him and how perfect he was for their family. Their first date was on top of the world, literally! They climbed a tree (close to 10 stories high) and sat in silence as they took in the gorgeous scenery. She said it was perfection and they’ve been inseparable ever since. Anne joked that they almost eloped but quickly added that her sister would kill her if she did so with only a handful of family & friends in attendance they tied the knot! The ceremony was beautiful and emotional and I couldn’t help but get a little teary eyed by the undeniable love that they shared.
I was SO excited when she said they would be married at The Bella Donna Chapel in McKinney. I’ve been dying to shoot there for years! It’s every wedding photographers dream, it has gorgeous natural light throughout the chapel and has beautiful intricate details that draw you in. It’s a piece of art! Now I can mark that venue off my bucket list 🙂
Darrell & Anne I wish you all the best! Thank you for allowing me to document such a beautiful day in your lives. It was truly an honor and a blast! I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I do.
