I first met Emily at Ashley & Lance’s wedding in 2013. She works with Kimberly at Hitched Events and I was so excited when she contacted me about her October wedding. It always means a lot to me when someone in the wedding industry chooses to work with me. With the experience that Kimberly and Emily both have planning gorgeous weddings, I was excited to see what they would create for Emily and they didn’t disappoint! Her wedding was both elegant and classy. So often at weddings, the nerves of the day can sometimes overshadow the excitement, but as soon as Melinda and I walked into the bridal room we could tell this was going to be a fun and laid back group. Emily and her bridesmaids were joking, laughing and having a good time and it set the tone for a fun day.
I loved Scott’s tuxedo and I’m a huge fan of suspenders. I had a great time photographing him and his groomsmen. I love it when wedding parties can have fun with photos. One of my favorite new trends is bridesmaids getting to choose their own style of dress while sticking with the color palate of the wedding and her bridesmaids had impeccable taste!
Everyone partied it up at the reception, including Emily and Scott. They looked like they had such a great time. The night ended with lots of dancing, hugs and a rose petal exit. I had so many favorites, but here are a few. I hope you enjoy them!
