I’m so excited to share this beautiful wedding! When I met with Tara last year I fell in love with her sweet personality. I could tell right away that she would be a great bride to work with. This was my first wedding back to work after I having my son on March 1st! And what a great wedding to start off the wedding season with! When I walked into the bridal suite and saw Tara’s gown, my jaw dropped. I love that she chose a silver gown! Nick and Tara’s first look was one of my favorites. The looks on their faces were priceless. You could feel how happy they were just by looking at them.
This wedding was one of the most laid back and fun events that I’ve gotten to photograph and it had a great deal to do with how much time Tara and Nick allotted for photos prior to the ceremony. Tara allotted several hours for getting ready, first look and all of the wedding party and family portraits prior to the ceremony, and because of this, we weren’t rushed and were able to give her a ton of great portraits that she will be able to treasure for years to come. And, once the ceremony ended, they were able to focus on their family and friends and party and dance the night away! They had an amazing band that kept it rocking all night long! I loved them!
I also loved how simple and elegant the ceremony space looked. The white draping and the beautiful chandeliers made it a gorgeous backdrop for Nick and Tara. The wedding party and families were so much fun to work with too. Everybody was laid back and you could tell that they were there to make sure everything went smoothly for the couple. You can tell that Nick and Tara are very loved and I can see why. They’re both kind and giving and just overall great people.
Nick and Tara, it was such an honor to work with you. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek and I can’t wait to share the rest of your beautiful wedding with you!
